My favourite Tarot

I was first introduced to Tarot cards in the mid-80's by a friend who was deeply into esoteric knowledge and the Occult. My introduction to the entire concept of the Tarot was very well presented to me by this friend who proceeded to do my first reading in the classic Celtic Cross spread.  This experience reflected back to me the central issue of my question with such clarity that it initiated my interest in exploring the world of Tarot ever since.
My friend had used the Ryder-Waite Tarot and although I liked this deck,I already knew the one I seleced as my own first deck would have to reflect my love for animals.I browsed around, and got Karen Kuykendall's lavishly well-illustrated " Tarot of the Cat People" as I had always lived with cats since forever. It was a very beautiful and colourful deck and I enjoyed it tremendously for many years.
Since 1996, I am using the extremely unique and sophisticated Herman Haindle Tarot which holds enormous appeal to me and to which I am harmoniously drawn in both an intuitive and aesthetic sense. The artwork and imagery are intriguing and detailed-and this deck serves me very well.
I am very pleased to see the enormous pool of talent in the area of Tarot artwork and am a regular viewer of The Aeclectic Tarot website, which features an incredible diversity of Tarot artwork and decks from people around the world interested in this ancient tradition. I am planning to upload a few examples of my work to Aeclectic Tarot in the near future and feel this is a wonderful opportunity to share my best with the International community.
