Wild Nature Tarot Indiegogo

My latest venture with my Wild Nature Tarot is the creation of an Indiegogo campaign site designed to help raise funding so I can devote more time to the completion of my deck.
It's the first time I'm trying to raise money using a public forum. This aspect of creation is one I find the most challenging,as my comfort zone has always been purely working my art into the refined finished canvasses.

This experience has given me a small glimpse of the additional steps needed by all artists and entrepeneurs to help the process of putting something out there,as well as earning income from one's inspired efforts.

I hope my Wild Nature Tarot Indiegogo campaign will be enjoyed by all visitors to the site-and may fans of my creations be both generous and encouraging!
I look forward to continuing  my fabulous journey of self-expression and would love to see my completed deck printed and enjoyed by many.

Aeclectic Tarot

Nine cards of my Wild Nature Tarot are presently featured in the WHAT'S NEW section for February 2013 on the international Tarot art website called Aeclectic Tarot. I'm pleased with this step in my journey as an artist because this represents a goal I've kept in mind throughout the time I've been painting my deck.
Aeclectic Tarot website has a stunning diversity of different and original Tarot art and decks from artists all over the world. I highly recommend this site to anyone interested in exploring the magical, mystical and beautiful world of Tarot. It truly has something for everyone and is a great online community for people wanting to share diverse exchanges relating to this intriguing spiritual dimension.

Putting it Out There

I am sharing a nugget of Wisdom I picked up along the way somewhere,as the momentum of creation pulled me into yet another priceless moment of confirmation of choices made and decisions taken.
'Whenever one puts out into the world an inspired creation, the Universe is affected in unimaginable and mysterious ways".
This type of meaningful messages also appear as an increasing awareness of them occurs.A true shift in the perception of reality is that we ourselves direct the creation of the world through our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviour. Everything "Out There"is reflecting something of one's inner state and so ,therefore, much of one's experience results from both the conscious and unconscious planes of Being.
As an artist, it is both humbling and empowering to know that ultimately, the Gold truly does lie Within.Creativity is a state of pure being that is an end in itself and that needs no forcing,no seeking-but only receptivity, surrender, openess and the focused desire and skill to direct and work the visions.
Everything has it's time and the legendary Metal singer Ronnie James Dio sang it "We're all Masters of the Universe".

My favourite Tarot

I was first introduced to Tarot cards in the mid-80's by a friend who was deeply into esoteric knowledge and the Occult. My introduction to the entire concept of the Tarot was very well presented to me by this friend who proceeded to do my first reading in the classic Celtic Cross spread.  This experience reflected back to me the central issue of my question with such clarity that it initiated my interest in exploring the world of Tarot ever since.
My friend had used the Ryder-Waite Tarot and although I liked this deck,I already knew the one I seleced as my own first deck would have to reflect my love for animals.I browsed around, and got Karen Kuykendall's lavishly well-illustrated " Tarot of the Cat People" as I had always lived with cats since forever. It was a very beautiful and colourful deck and I enjoyed it tremendously for many years.
Since 1996, I am using the extremely unique and sophisticated Herman Haindle Tarot which holds enormous appeal to me and to which I am harmoniously drawn in both an intuitive and aesthetic sense. The artwork and imagery are intriguing and detailed-and this deck serves me very well.
I am very pleased to see the enormous pool of talent in the area of Tarot artwork and am a regular viewer of The Aeclectic Tarot website, which features an incredible diversity of Tarot artwork and decks from people around the world interested in this ancient tradition. I am planning to upload a few examples of my work to Aeclectic Tarot in the near future and feel this is a wonderful opportunity to share my best with the International community.

Greetings and welcome to my Wild NatureTarot site.

To kick off this blog, I will share some details about myself. I've been greatly inspired by Nature's beauty and raw power my whole life and I started doing art at an early age. I'm attracted by the unique, the original, the unconventional and the different. I resonate with those who, like myself, thrive on the far side of wild and think outside the box.

I am a Free Spirit, Martial artist, Dancer and Metalhead. I am a creative Chef of exotic World Cuisine and a seasoned jungle traveller with an interest in tropical ecology and entemology.

My Tarot art reflects and expresses the vivid and dramatic passions of my life and draw from both real people, events and animals as well as imagination. A few of my favourite artists include Boris Vallejo, Frank Frazetta, Ken Kelly, H.G.Geiger, Hans Werner Sahms, Susan Sedon Boulet, Frida Kahlo de Riviera and Lady Frieda Harris.

It is a fabulous priviledge to bring my world to life through artwork and share it.

Thank you all and enjoy!
